ScanAssure uses AI to read standard urine test strips on an ordinary phone. Health workers, dairy teams and vets get a result in about 20 seconds, even without a network, and can spot silent disease earlier.
A screening aid for health workers and vets. It does not replace a doctor’s or veterinarian’s diagnosis.
Illustration with sample values, not real results.
Kidney disease, diabetes, urinary infections and dairy-cattle and pet illness often show no signs until they are advanced. Testing is the missing step.
Figures are approximate and drawn from published Indian studies and government reports (ICMR-INDIAB, NFHS-5, the 20th Livestock Census 2019, mastitis meta-analyses and DAHD reports on lumpy skin disease).
Lighting and colour judgement skew results, and nothing is recorded.
Accurate, but costly and tied to proprietary strips, so they rarely reach villages.
Results take 24 to 48 hours, and the nearest lab is often far away.

Steps shown for illustration. Strips are read in the ScanAssure app on any smartphone.
The strip, a calibration card and a small USB camera module work with an AI model that runs on the phone itself.
Place the strip on the ScanAssure Card and scan it with the app. No extra hardware is needed. For health centres and dairy collection points, the optional ScanAssure Edge USB reader works with the same app and strips.
Computer vision with classical image processing, trained on over 100,000 images. A species switch selects the human, bovine or canine colour model and ranges.
Any CDSCO-licensed 10-parameter strip. The cattle and dog panels suppress pads that are not valid for each species.
Reports are hash-anchored and tamper-proof, with no health data stored on-chain. Users own their data.
For ASHAs, community health officers, Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, primary health centres and households.
For dairy cooperatives, milk collection centres, Pashu Sakhis, para-vets and farmers.
For veterinary clinics, animal shelters, animal-welfare programmes and pet owners.
People, cattle and dog screens, flagged cases and follow-through in one village view for health and animal-husbandry teams.
A milk module (CMT and pH), plus links to ABDM and Bharat Pashudhan.
